- That is the answer I was looking for! Tried what you said on
- QModem and it worked as predicted.

- I think I'll do as you suggest and place dip switch #1 in the "on"
- position. It is annoying to have to recycle the modem. I personally feel
- this is a defect in modem operation; but everthing else works great so I
- can forgive a little. :-)
